STATEMENT
Memory is bound up with philosophical discourse about time and the impossibility of permanence. My art explores life's transitions –dynamics of conflict, translations of place and the passage of time. I produce works through which unanswerable diversity reaches a spatial and temporal resolution.  Each of my pieces comes to focus on a particular moment or feeling. Each piece, incorporates the tensions of emotion, builds upon the conflicts that surround its subject - and captures the whole. Our life experiences, all of them, are with us always. My art strives to understand and accept this omnipresent totality. Memory may fade, but nothing ever vanishes.
